400gD'Lecta Cow Ghee

1 tbspCardamom powder


Mix the sugar with 100ml water and bring to a boil.

Let it simmer for 10 minutes until it reaches one string consistency.

Mix the besan with cardamom powder.

Mix 100ml of ghee with the besan and make into a batter.

Melt the remaining ghee and keep it hot.

When the sugar reaches the one thread consistency, pour the besan batter gradually whisking continously in the hot sugar syrup.

Pour the hot ghee spoon by spoon into the besan and sugar mixture and keep whisking.

Once all the ghee is used up, and the mixture has puffed up and changed the color slightly, switch off the flame.

Grease a steel plate with a little ghee and pour the mixture on the plate and let it cool.

Once cooled, cut into squares and serve.
