8Jalapeno chillies

200gD’Lecta cream cheese

100gD’Lecta natural cheddar

Freshly crushed black pepper

1 cupFlour

1 cupMilk

1 cupBreadcrumbs

2 cupsOil


Slit the jalapeno chillies from one side.

Mix together the cream cheese, natural cheddar and black pepper.

Stuff the jalapeno chilli with the cheese mixture.

Dust the stuffed chillies with flour, dip them in milk and then coat them with breadcrumbs.

Repeat with the remaining chillies.

Heat oil in a kadai.

When oil is hot, test it by frying a small cube of bread, it should rise on the surface within 30 seconds.

Fry the jalapeno poppers 2-3 at a time depending on the size of your kadai until golden and crisp.

Serve hot with ketchup.
