Black Forest Cheesecake
- 175 gChocolate chip cookies
- 50 g, meltedDlecta unsalted butter
- 500 gDlecta cream cheese
- 1 tspVanilla essence
- 300 gDlecta whipping cream
- 400 g, melted plus 100 g for garnishDark chocolate
- 20 plus 5 for garnishCanned cherries
- 4 tbspBrandy (optional)
Crush the chocolate chip biscuits with a rolling pin and mix the melted butter in it.
Take a 20 cm loose bottom cake tin and put the biscuit mixture at the base and level it with a spoon.
Beat the cream cheese with the vanilla essence until smooth.
Beat the whipping cream with the brandy until soft peaks.
Fold the cream into the cream cheese and then fold the melted chocolate in the same mixture.
Add the cherries and mix gently.
Pour the mixture on top of the biscuit mixture and keep in the refrigerator for chilling.
Chill it for atleast 2-3 hours, and then before serving, garnish with the remaining cherries and shavings of the remaining chocolate.
