Caramel and Banana Pie
- 150 gmsFlour
- 75 gmsDlecta Unsalted Butter
- 2 tbspChilled water
- 100 gmsCondensed milk
- 50 gmsBrown sugar
- 20 gmsDlecta Unsalted Butter
- 4 nosBanana
- 100 gmsDlecta Dairy whipping cream
- 10 gmsIcing sugar
Rub the flour and butter together for the pie. Add chilled water and knead to a soft dough.
Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Preheat an oven at 180°C.Spread the dough in pie dish and bake it for 20-25 mins till golden brown colour.
For Caramel: Melt butter in saucepan and then add brown sugar. Cook on high heat.
Bring to a boil and stir it constantly. Make sure sugar dissolves.
Add the condensed milk, and combine well. Bring to a boil.
Set timer for 1 minute and 30 seconds. Boil on high heat stirring constantly. Mixture should get thickened. If not thickened, cook a little longer.
Pour half of the caramel onto the bottom of crust you made.
Slice 3 bananas and add in caramel sauce. Pour the rest of the caramel on top.
Refrigerate until caramel sets.
Beat dairy whipping cream with sugar until soft peaks.
Fold in 1 sliced banana.Top pie with cream.
Shave chocolate bar on top. Add walnut's on top if desired. Keep refrigerated.
