- 500 gpotatoes
- 1 sliced onion
- 2 tbspD'lecta unsalted butter
- 100gGrated D’Lecta natural cheddar cheese
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 tbsp pepper
Peel the potatoes and immerse them in water.
Bring to a boil and drain.
Let the potatoes cool.
Meanwhile, heat 1 tbsp butter in a pan, and add sliced onions to it and sauté till light golden.
Preheat an oven at 180°C.
Grease a baking dish 6 inch by 6 inch and keep aside.
Grate the cooled potatoes, season with salt and pepper, mix the golden fried onions and cheddar cheese to it lightly making sure you don’t mash the potatoes.
Spread the mixture on the baking dish and put in the oven for 15-20 minutes until golden and cooked.
Cut into squares or scoop with a spoon and serve hot.
