  • For the Kulfi:
  • 1 cupD’lecta Premium cow Milk
  • 1 cupD’lecta cream cheese
  • 200 gCondensed milk
  • 2 tbspCorn flour
  • 100 gDark chocolate
  • For Ganache:
  • 100 gDark chocolate
  • 50 gD’lecta Dairy Cream
  • For Strawberry Sauce
  • 50 gStrawberry Puree
  • 10 gSugar
  • 100 gPound Cake
  • 25 gD’lecta Unsalted Butter
Step 1

For the Kulfi:

Step 2

Heat the milk and condensed milk together in a pan and bring to a boil.

Step 3

Chop the chocolate into small pieces and add to the boiling milk.

Step 4

Reduce the flame to a simmer and stir well till the chocolate is dissolved completely.

Step 5

Mix the corn flour with 2 tbsp water to form a slurry.

Step 6

Pour the corn flour mix gradually to the milk stirring for a couple of minutes until thick.

Step 7

Switch off the flame and keep aside.

Step 8

Whisk the cream cheese and gradually add it to the warm chocolate kulfi mixture.

Step 9

Let it cool.

Step 10

Pour the kulfi mix in a long aluminium loaf tin and freeze it overnight.

Step 11

Once set, remove the kulfi from the mould and put it on a chopping board and cut in even slices.

For the Ganache :

Heat Chocolate and cream on a double boiler till the chocolate is completely dissolved.

Step 14

Fill in a piping bag and set aside.

Step 15

For the Sauce:

Boil the strawberry puree with sugar till it starts thickening.

Step 17

Set aside and let it cool.

Step 18

For the Fries:

Cut the pound cake into 10mm thickness fries and saute them carefully in a pan greased with unsalted butter till it starts getting golden brown like the french fries.

For Assembling:

Place the chocolate Kulfi Slice on a round plate and pipe the ganache in a way that it resembles the lines on a grilled steak. Place the pound cake fries next to it and serve it with strawberry sauce alongside.
