Jalapeno and Cheddar Muffins

- 1 tbspBaking powder
- 1 tbspSugar
- ½ tspSalt
- 1 cupD’lecta Premium Milk
- ¼ cup, meltedD’Lecta unsalted butter
- 3 cups, gratedD’Lecta cheddar cheese
- 3 tbsp, choppedJalapeno
- 12, slicesJalapeno
- A pinchBlack pepper
Preheat an oven at 180°C.
Mix together the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.
Whisk together the milk, egg and melted butter.
Add the flour mixture to the milk mixture and mix well.
Add the grated cheese and chopped jalapenoes to the flour mixture.
Spoon the muffin mixture onto the paper lined muffin case.
Top each muffin with a slice of jalapeno and sprinkle black pepper on top.
Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes until cooked.Serve warm
