Tangy Cream Cheese Rolls
- 100gD'lecta cream cheese (softened)
- 50gCastor sugar
- 1tspVanilla essence
- A pinchSalt
- 5Spring roll sheet
- For fryingVegetable oil
- For garnishPowdered sugar
In a large bowl, combine cream cheese with sugar, vanilla, orange zest and salt. Using a hand mixer beat ingredients until fully combined.
Place a spring roll sheet on a clean surface in a diamond shape and spoon approximately 3 tablespoons cream cheese mixture into a line in the center. Fold up bottom half and tightly fold in sides. Gently roll & then seal fold with a few drops of water.
Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add rolls and fry until golden (1 minute per side). Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate & leave to cool.
Dust with powdered sugar and serve with strawberry sauce.
