Cheese Masala Dosa with Readymade Dosa Batter

Ingredients

  • Readymade Dosa Batter

For Filling

  • 2 Tbsp Oil
  • 1/2 Tsp Mustard Seeds
  • Few Curry Leaves 
  • 1 Tsp Roasted Chana Dal
  • 1/4 Cup Chopped Onion
  • 1 Chopped Green Chilli
  • 1 Cup Boiled & Diced Potato
  • 1/4 Tsp Turmeric Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 Tsp Chopped Coriander Leaves 

For Seasoning The Pan

  • 1/2 Tsp Oil
  • Water As Required

For Making Dosa


For Serving

  • Coconut Chutney
  • Sambhar

Let's Start Cooking!

  1. Heat a pan, add mustard seeds, curry leaves, chana dal and sauté it for 30 seconds.
  2. Now add onion, green chilli and cook until onion turn translucent. Add turmeric powder and mix it well.
  3. Add potato, salt and mix well. Mash with the help of spoon and cook for 2-3 minutes. If need add 1 tbsp water.
  4. Sprinkle coriander leaves and mix well. Allow the mixture to cool down.
  5. Heat a flat frying pan, drizzle oil and then sprinkle water. Wipe out the water.
  6. Pour a ladle full of batter in the center of the pan and using back of the ladle in a spiral motion thinly spread the batter.
  7. Cook for 2 minutes and then drizzle oil/ melted butter. Sprinkle podi masala (or any choice of masala powder) and spread with the help of flat spoon. Place a small portion of potato mixture in the center and spread it little. Sprinkle D'lecta Processed Cheese and cool for a minute. 
  8. Fold the Dosa in half moon shape and serve hot with coconut chutney and sambar.
