Let's Start Cooking!
Base
- Take Red Velvet premix in a bowl and add water and mix slowly with hand mixer
- Once all mixed properly, add oil and again mix it in high speed for 5mins
- Pour into greased mould
- Bake it in preheated oven at 180 degree C for 20mins
- Let it cool for 30mins to 60mins to be
Cream Cheese frosting
- Get the butter to the room temperature or till softened
- Whip butter to creamy and fluffy texture
- Add icing sugar little by little to the butter till sugar dissolves completely
- While whipping, add cream cheese & vanilla essence to mixture.
- Whip it to creamy & smooth texture for 2-3 min.
Assemble cake
- Divide the red velvet sponge into 3 equal parts
- Apply the required cream to the first layer 3/5mm
- Repeat the same to the second & third
- Cover the top with remaining frosting to get smooth finish on top
Garnish
- Crumble red velvet sponge
- Cover the cake with crumbs
For best taste, serve chilled.
