Ingredients
For Cream
- 2 Eggs
- 30 g Sugar
- 225 g D’lecta Mascarpone
- ¼ Tsp Cream Of Tartar Powder
- Cocoa Powder As Required
For Soaking:
- 140 g Water
- 1.5 Tbs Coffee powder
- 1.5 Tbs Sugar
- 1.75 Tbs Kahlua/Coffee + Rum Liquor
- 8 - 10 Ladyfinger biscuits Or 2 Slices Sponge
LET'S START COOKING!
Cream
- Take 2 Egg yellows and sugar and cook on double boiler.
- Add D’lecta Mascarpone. Whip until dense. Do not split.
- Take another bowl with 2 egg whites and cream of tartar powder. Beat until soft peaks in high speed.
- Gently fold egg white mixture into Mascarpone mixture.
Soaking
- Take a bowl pour water, coffee powder, sugar and Kalhua/Coffee + Rum Liqueur
- Mix well all ingredients make coffee syrup and keep it aside.
Assembly
- Soak a slice of sponge or ladyfingers with coffee syrup and layer on bottom of vessel.
- Pour the cream mixture, until the sponge is completely covered.
- Soak another slice of sponge with coffee syrup layer on top of cream. Pour the remaining cream mixture.
- Cling wrap vessel and chill in refrigerator till 6-8 hours. Dust with cocoa powder and serve chilled.
